Karisma

A skin-quality injectable for patients seeking subtle improvement rather than added facial shape.

Karisma is used at Mira Clinic as a skin-quality treatment in appropriately selected patients. Rather than being chosen to create projection or reshape facial features, it may be considered when the priority is improving the overall quality and appearance of the skin.

Where Karisma Fits in Our Treatment Philosophy

Not every ageing concern is a volume problem. A face may have good proportions but show changes in hydration, fine texture, elasticity or dermal quality. In these patients, adding conventional filler simply to 'look younger' may not be the most appropriate approach.

What It May Be Used For

Karisma may be considered for selected patients with early skin-quality changes, fine lines, crepey texture or reduced dermal resilience. Treatment areas and technique depend on clinical assessment.

Karisma Is Not a Contouring Filler

If the main concern is a recessed chin, loss of cheek projection or a structural contour problem, another treatment may be more suitable. Skin-quality injectables and structural injectables have different jobs.

Good skin and good facial structure are related - but they are not the same treatment target.

What to Expect

Injection-site redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising can occur. Small temporary bumps may be visible depending on technique. The expected timeline and number of sessions are discussed according to the treatment plan.

Combination Treatment

Karisma may be used alongside other strategies when a patient has more than one ageing component. For example, structural support, RF microneedling or other skin treatments may address concerns that a skin-quality injectable alone cannot correct.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Karisma a filler?

It is not used at Mira Clinic in the same way as a conventional volumising or contouring filler. Its role is primarily considered within a skin-quality strategy.

Will it change my face shape?

It is generally selected when facial reshaping is not the primary objective. Any injectable treatment should still be planned around individual anatomy.

Is it better than a skin booster?

There is no universal 'better'. Product choice depends on the skin concern, desired effect, treatment history and medical suitability.
